How do I unpack my mattress?
Your Welcome Pack with opening instructions and an opening ‘tool’ is included inside the mattress box. You can remove the blue outer wrapper with a pair of scissors that have a rounded point, so they don’t puncture the inner vacuum bag or damage the mattress . The mattress can then be unrolled just like a very large newspaper. NB exercise caution while unrolling as the mattress can unroll quickly if the inner vacuum bag has been punctured.

Sleep Republic provides a 12 year warranty on The Mattress sold online. This warranty covers;
- Faulty workmanship or materials.
- Body impressions or visible indentation or sag in the mattress surface, while no weight is applied, of greater than 3.5cm.
In order for the mattress to wear evenly we recommend rotating the mattress 180 degrees every 2 weeks for the first month then once every month for the duration of the warranty period. Failure to rotate your mattress may cause the mattress not to wear evenly and will void the warranty.
This warranty does not cover
- Normal wear and tear from use.
- Minor imperfections that do not affect the performance of the bed. These include slight variations to size and colour.
- Odour. Some materials have a natural or new odour.
- Damage caused by incorrect opening of the mattress or failing to follow delivery and unpacking instructions.
- Handles (where fitted) should only be used to position the mattress and should never be used to carry the mattress or support the full weight of the mattress.
- Use for commercial, rental or other business purpose (including but not limited to hotel use, Airbnb etc.). In such cases the warranty period is 12 months.
- Damage caused by abusive handling, misuse.
- Failing to use the mattress with the proper foundation or base that has support including centre support.
A waterproof & breathable mattress protector is highly recommended at all times of use.
