We think important relationships shouldn’t be rushed, so we give you up to 150 nights to make sure you love your mattress. If you’re not completely satisfied, let us know within 150 nights and we’ll arrange to collect * it free of charge and refund your money. We recommend trying the mattress for at least 14 days because we know that changing mattresses, even from a bad one, takes the body time to get used to – like all new relationships. However if you’re certain the mattress isn’t for you, that’s good enough for us!*Due to COVID-19 and high demand our charity partners mattress pick up services are experiencing delays in some locations. We don’t charge any pickup or transport costs on returns providing your area is serviced by one of our collecting charities. In the event that collection is from an unserviced area, delivery to the nearest charity collection point (or the cost) will be the buyers responsibility. Sometimes we include items like pillows or mattress protectors or sheets as special offers with the purchase. These goods must be returned in order to receive your refund. If your mattress has been bought as a part of a ‘bundled offer’ with items such as sheets and or mattress protector or other items, the discount applicable to that bundle is taken off the mattress price, and that discounted price is the amount that will be refunded if the mattress is returned.

Just like at the buffet, where it’s best to try before filling your plate, we want you to be sure you love your mattress before you order big! So we limit returns under the 150 night trial to one item, per order, per household. We recommend, if purchasing more than one of an item, that you purchase one to begin with and if you are happy, to then place a further order for more.
Where do the returned mattresses go?

Mattresses returned under the trial are first given grief counselling (just joking!) and then are donated to charity. They are not re-sold by us but sometimes the charities may elect to sell through their op shop outlets to raise funds.

We do not re-sell returned mattresses and arrange wherever possible to donate the mattress to charity. We have used a variety of charities such as Salvos and Lifeline depending on their need and location. If not donated to charity, mattresses are recycled.

We accept Credit Cards (Mastercard, Visa & Amex), PayPal, Interest Free Finance – Buy Now Pay Later (Afterpay, Zip, Klarna & Splitit) & Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin & Ethereum). We operate purely online, so unfortunately we cannot accept cash. For security reasons we don’t accept payment over the phone.

Yes! We offer Afterpay, Zip, Splitit & Klarna. At checkout the finance offers available to you will be shown. Simply select which one you want to apply for and within seconds you will get an answer if you are approved and you can complete your order.

Afterpay splits your purchase into 4 installments. You pay the first installment at the time of purchase and the remainder every fortnight. Pay nothing extra when you pay on time. With interest-free payments, the only fees are for late payments. Afterpay will email you a payment schedule and send you notifications so there are no surprises. Enjoy instant approval and shipment. You’ll know you have been approved within seconds. Orders ship as they would with any other form of payment. Afterpay has a transaction limit of $2000 so any orders over this amount will not be available to check out with Afterpay.

Once you proceed to checkout via Crypto.com Pay you will be given the the option to pay via the Crypto.com app or other payment methods direct into our Bitcoin or Ethereum wallets via the QR code/addresses supplied. Please note there will be network costs in regards to paying via Cryptocurrency through Crypto.com Pay. These network costs are between the buyer and Crypto.com. Delivery is free to most metro and inner regional areas across Australia!
We offer Free Delivery to major metropolitan cities and inner regional areas. Please note the following breakdown as determined by our delivery partners:
Metro Areas (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth & Hobart): Free delivery.
Inner Regional Areas: Free delivery is available where our delivery partners operate.
Outer Regional Areas: A flat delivery rate may apply. You’ll be notified at checkout if your address falls into this category.
Remote Regional Areas: Unfortunately, we currently do not ship to some remote regional locations not serviced by our delivery partners.

You provide us with your address and mobile contact number at checkout. We offer next day delivery on the Sleep Republic Original Mattress for eligible areas. For metropolitan Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, and Gold Coast, Sleep Republic Original Mattress orders placed by 2pm will be delivered next day, subject to stock availability (excludes weekends and public holidays). Accessories such as base, pillow, sheets, protector, and dog bed may be shipped separately and arrive at a later date to your mattress order. For other areas, delivery will usually be between 3 and 7 business days, depending on location (up to 14 business days for some rural and remote areas).Please note: Delivery is to your front door only. Our delivery partners do not authorise their staff to enter your premises or take the product upstairs due to OH&S rules.If you have any special delivery requirements, please contact us before placing your order and we will endeavour to meet your needs. remote areas). To make receiving your Sleep Republic order as smooth as possible, all deliveries are now automatically set to Authority to Leave. That means your order will be safely left at your door or in a secure spot if you're not home—no need to wait around or rearrange your day! If you prefer a signature on delivery or have special instructions, just let us know at checkout and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Your Welcome Pack with opening instructions and an opening ‘tool’ is included inside the mattress box. You can remove the blue outer wrapper with a pair of scissors that have a rounded point, so they don’t puncture the inner vacuum bag or damage the mattress . The mattress can then be unrolled just like a very large newspaper. NB exercise caution while unrolling as the mattress can unroll quickly if the inner vacuum bag has been punctured.

Once the mattress has been unrolled and decompressed it will take up to 72 hours to return to its original shape & feel. In some cases the length and width may be up to +- 2.5% shorter or longer after initially opening and may take up to 14 days to return to its original size through use and lying flat on the base.

Our mattress is suitable for solid straight timber slat bases.
The foundation that supports your mattress is a very important element to ensuring the longevity of your mattress as mattresses always follow the foundation that they rest on. For this reason, any curved or flexible type slats are not suitable.
Gaps between slats should not exceed 8cm – 10cm as gaps exceeding 10cm will not provide adequate support to the mattress.
Sprung bases are not suitable.

Setting up the mattress is extremely simple. You will find a welcome pack inside your mattress box. It’s full of handy stuff like a detailed set of opening and set-up instructions, and also a special opening tool to make setting up the mattress a breeze. You and a friend (or two) should be able to set up your mattress in minutes. The worst part? There can be no replays!

We think a mattress should always be used with a mattress protector. Any stains or marks on the mattress should be removed with careful wiping or dabbing with a damp cloth. Don’t use solvents or chemicals and don’t over wet. Allow the area to dry before covering again.

Because the mattress has been vacuum packed it will have a slight ‘new bed’ odour on opening that will dissipate, while you can sleep on it virtually immediately, we recommend leaving it exposed to circulating air for as long as possible.

You do not need to flip your Sleep Republic mattress. We have designed our mattress as a single sided pillow top with the best quality pocket spring core and pillow top contents. Rotating the mattress, top to bottom, monthly will keep it in top condition.
What is the feel of the mattress?

The mattress is medium/firm feel. Years of customer feedback have told us that this is what the vast majority of people (even years after buying one) are happy with. Despite notions that absolute softness is required for a perfect night’s sleep, we have found time and time again that soft mattresses don’t cut it. The same can be said for those contemplating a very firm mattress. A rock-hard mattress wears surprisingly thin after a few nights.

Our mattress has a carefully designed comfort layer, in this layer is gel infused memory foam designed for temperature stability. Beneath is natural latex with hundreds of ventilation pores to allow for breathability. Added to this, the natural ventilation characteristics of pocket springs and our 3D side panels help avoid heat build up and make a healthy sleep environment We are confident that even hot sleepers will not have any issues with heat build up.
